Fishing Guide in Naples
Naples fishing puts you in some of the cleanest, most productive backcountry water on Florida's Gulf Coast. I run charters out of Naples targeting redfish, snook, and speckled trout in the mangrove-lined bays and grass flats that stretch from Gordon Pass south to the Ten Thousand Islands.
Fishing Naples
The Naples area gives us incredible variety. You've got shallow grass flats that hold trout and reds year-round, deep mangrove shorelines where snook stack up in the warmer months, and oyster bars that concentrate baitfish and the predators that hunt them. The water clarity here is outstanding compared to areas farther north, which makes sight fishing a real option when conditions line up. I fish everything from Rookery Bay to the backwaters of Marco Island, and each zone fishes differently depending on tide, season, and what the bait is doing.
Spring and fall are prime time for this fishery. March through May, the snook wake up and start feeding aggressively along the mangroves and around dock pilings. Redfish are cooperative almost year-round, but they really light up in the fall when the mullet run pushes through. Speckled trout move onto the flats during cooler months, and we'll also pick up black drum and pompano around structure when the conditions are right. Summer brings tarpon into the mix, especially in the passes and along the beaches, and jack crevalle show up to crush anything that moves when the bait is thick.
A Naples fishing guide trip with me is about reading the water and adapting. We're not running a script. Some days we're poling the flats looking for tailing reds, other days we're working the mangrove edges with live bait or throwing artificials at snook busting shrimp. I keep the boat positioned right, help you make the cast, and put you on fish that are actually biting. Whether you're on the fly rod or spinning gear, we're fishing water that holds quality fish and gives you a legitimate shot at multiple species in a single trip.
