Subject:NEW TO ST PETERSBURG AND OVERWHELMED

For the past five years my flyfishing gear has caught nothing but dust...military life will do that to you. None the less, stability has arrived and put me St Petes area, I do not have a boat and know nothing about the area and the opportunities that exist, any reccomended areas, fly shops, online references or anything else that can help me get re-started would be great. I've got the gear required...but not a direction to head. I also am having a hard time viewing postings/replies on this forum so please email me anything that you have that may be helpful, thanks in advance for the help, and tight lines. -Justin. Subject:no boat

My husband and I will be in Clearwater the end of June. We want to do some fly fishing but will not have access to a boat. Any suggestions on great places to walk some flats? Tips on easy access areas?

Subject:St. Pete area - new flyer

I just got back from Georgia where a friend took me fly fishing with an Orvis guide. It was a blast. I am getting a rod next and want to know where in the St. Pete area is good to fish? I suspect there are many. I live close to Coffee Pot in St. Pete, but don't know if the bay or canals are good? I enjoyed the river in GA we drifted down. What's good in the St. Pete area or surrounding area...

Abe

Subject:Fly fishing tarpon springs

Anyone fish up around Tarpons Springs. Just moved to North Tampa and I would like to throw the fly some place close and I'm assuming that Tarpon Springs would be the best place to go offshore. Any advice out there? I've heard the Tarpon come in strong around there later in the summer.
